How soon will I have my valuation?

A representative of UK Caravans Direct can be with you within 24 hours. A free valuation is usually given on the same day. We will then be in touch with an offer for the purchase of your static caravan.

Will you buy my caravan if it’s damaged or old?

Yes, potentially we would still look to purchase a damaged or older caravan. Of course this would largely depend on the extent of the damage and age of the caravan.

What documentation do I need to sell my caravan?

The good news here is… none! Unlike cars for example, caravans do not have any form of logbook. Of course we would need you to provide the keys though 😉

How do I tell my Caravan Park that I am selling my Static Caravan?

UK Caravans Direct can assist you in notifying your park about the sale. We can help you to manage any necessary paperwork and notify your park to ensure a smooth process. Our team is here to support you every step of the way.

Do alterations make a difference to the quote?

Yes, removing furniture, repainting, or replacing the kitchen for example, can make it less appealing to buyers and therefore negatively impact the price we pay. To find out more about how we quote, click HERE.

My caravan has external decking. Will that make it worth more?

Unfortunately not – the cost of removing and re-installing the decking would normally outweigh any additional value that it has. In most cases we wouldn’t look to sell-on your caravan with the decking, and we can not sell-on the decking alone as it was specifically made to fit the exact measurements and height of your caravan.

How soon can I be paid for my Static Caravan?

We offer a quick and hassle free process when we purchase your static caravan. We will pay you a £500 deposit when the collection date has been confirmed. We will then send you the remaining funds on the day of transport. Funds will be sent directly into your bank account.

How long does it take from enquiry, to collection and payment into my account?

On average from enquiry to payment takes around 2-4 weeks. However, this will of course depend on how long it takes you to prepare the caravan for collection, complete, sign and return any documents, and also when the site will permit us to collect your caravan.

What happens after I agree to sell?

The whole process should normally take around 2-4 weeks, and once you agree to sell your caravan to UK Caravans Direct there are a number of steps before you receive final payment, which you can read more about HERE

Can you collect my static caravan?

Absolutely! UK Caravans Direct provides a collection service. We can arrange to pick it up from your park at a time that is convenient to you and those involved.

Will you settle any outstanding finance?

All outstanding finance must be settled before the caravan is legally allowed to leave the park. It is your responsibility to ensure that this has been done.
